The Indian Cricket Team is on a rampage in Sri Lanka. They whitewashed the Lankan Lions in the Test series. Now they could cleansweep Sri Lanka in the one-dayers as well, as they are already leading the series 4-0.
Virat Kohli, the Indian captain, had said that the team will give opportunity to new players in the 4th ODI. As promised, the Indian team management played Shardul Thakur, Manish Pandey and Kuldeep Yadav in Colombo.
Now only Ajinkya Rahane is yet to play a game in the ongoing ODI series. Kohli, meanwhile, has hinted that he will make further changes in the upcoming matches. India vs Sri Lanka 5th ODI will take place on Sunday.
“We have given opportunities to three new guys and definitely they are going to get another opportunity,” Kohli said.
“The batting order and everything can be flexible according to the situation of the game,” he added. “We will experiment here and there a little bit, once the guys settle into their role in any given situation and given condition.”
The Indian team, meanwhile, will place the 5th ODI, followed by a one-off T20 match to conclude the tour.
