The new selection committee of the BCCI has announced a 15-member squad for the upcoming ODI series against New Zealand. The selectors have named the squad for the first three one-dayers against the Blackcaps.
MS Dhoni will be leading the squad. Senior players likes of Virat Kohli, Ajinkya Rahane and Rohit Sharma are in the squad. Suresh Raina is making a comeback after been axed in January earlier in the year.

The selectors, however, didn’t include injured KL Rahul, Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Shikhar Dhawan in the squad. They have also opted to rest Ravindra Jadeja and Ravichandran Ashwin for three games.
Both Jadeja and Ashwin are likely to be a part of the Indian team that is to play a long season at home. Jayant Yadav, Kedar Jadhav, Mandeep Singh are part of the 15-member squad.

Mohammad Shami is also not part of the squad. Jasprit Bumrah, Umesh Yadav and Dhawal Kulkarni are the pacers.
