India Test skipper Virat Kohli flourished under the watchful eyes of MS Dhoni in the Indian Cricket Team. In the proceedings, he learnt the art of captaincy from Dhoni, who is India’s most successful captain across formats.
Kohli has admitted that he is an admirer of Dhoni’s leadership skills. He further added that from India’s limited-overs captain he learnt how to make decisions under pressure situations.

“Decision making is very hard at times and it takes a lot of courage to do that,” Kohli in an interview insisted. “I learned a lot from Dhoni seeing the way he made decisions.”
“They might have been right or wrong but to convince yourself to make one decision and go forward with it. I think that is the essence of being a captain,” Kohli added.

Dhoni is currently preparing for the upcoming five-match ODI series against India. The one-day series is starting from October 16 in Dharmasala, after the ongoing Test series.
The Indian team has already sealed the three-match Test series with two back-to-back wins. Indore’s Holkar Cricket Stadium will host the last game of the series.
