The Indian Cricket Team has climbed to the top in the recent ICC Test Rankings. Virat Kohli’s men ended Pakistan brief stay at the top with two back-to-back wins over New Zealand in the ongoing Test series.
Pakistan could only manage to stay at the top for just 13 days. It seems the Indian team is here to stay at the number 1 spot. India are slated to play all of their matches at home in the coming months.

They have already won the three-match Test series with two convincing wins. The hosts are likely to complete a whitewash in the series, seeing the way they have performed in the series so far.
Meanwhile, Indian players have also gained places in the latest Test rankings. Wriddhiman Saha, Rohit Sharma and Ravindra Jadeja have all moved up in the recent rankings.

Saha has gained 18 places and is now ranked 56, while Rohit has moved 14 places up to the 38th position. Jadeja is now at the 6th position, while Ravichandran Ashwin is third in the table.
