As the release date of MS Dhoni The Untold Story is getting near, various aspects of Captain Cool are coming out. His journey as a cricketer, his personal life and how he become the most successful Indian captain.
Arun Pandey is one such person who knows MSD up close and personal. He is Dhoni’s childhood friend, and producer of Dhoni Biopic, and witnessed Dhoni’s rise to stardom from a humble background.

Pandey insisted that despite taking the Indian team to greater heights, Dhoni managed to remain grounded. His approach never changed, and anyone who knows him since childhood will feel the same.
“I did not want to be a silent and only witness of this journey anymore,” Pandey said. “What I really appreciate about him is he still manages to keep his humility despite his popularity.”
“Despite so many changes he is still the humble boy I knew back in 1998,” he stressed. “He has not changed at all and I really appreciate that about him.”

Pandey, the man who convinced Dhoni for the biopic, praised director Neeraj Pandey for doing justice with the movie. He also praised Sushant Singh Rajput for doing justice with the role.
“The duo (Neeraj Pandey and Sushant Singh Rajput) made it remarkable, Pandey said. “The film will not just show Dhoni as a mere cricketer, it will show the hardship he underwent to get his achievement.”
