Chennai Super Kings fans once again will watch the Indian Premier League from the sideline. They, however, have to wait for just one more season to see their favorite Yellow-Brigade back in action.
And, there’s every possibility of MS Dhoni leading them once again in the T20 extravaganza. CSK boss, N Srinivasan, vowed that his team will be back with a bang next year, with Dhoni at the helm of affairs, once again.

“If you are a CSK fan and are a cricket aficionado, you want to see MS Dhoni leading the side again in 2018. You want him to walk out wearing yellow,” Srinivasan said. “There is every possibility of that happening and next year.”
“We will be back with a bang,” he added. “The absence from the competition has not affected the CSK brand at all.”

Despite a two-year ban Chennai Super Kings is still one of the most successful team in the IPL. They have won the title twice, and reached the final six times. Srinivasan credited Dhoni for the success his team enjoyed over the years.
“CSK’s performances in each season saw it achieving an iconic stature,” Srinivasan pointed out. “More importantly, Dhoni embraced the city of Chennai and the fans were more than happy to oblige.”
