The Indian team are fresh from a series win over New Zealand in both Tests and ODIs. They are now set for another challenge against England in the five-match Test series, starting tomorrow in Rajkot.
India are firm favorites in the series, but Ajinkya Rahane believes that England will be a different challenge for them.
“We played a five-match series in England and we got an idea of how to approach a five-match series,” Rahane said. “That was a great learning experience for all of us as a young unit, when we played in England.”

“You have an opportunity to come back into the series when you are playing five matches,” he added. “Playing against England will be a challenge for all of us. They have a good side and I am sure it will be a good series.”
“We have been playing good cricket but the important thing is to be fresh till the fifth match,” Rahane concluded.
England have an impressive record against India in past series. When they last toured India, the hosts were beaten convincingly in the Test series. This time, however, the situation is entirely different.
The Three Lions are coming into the series beaten in Bangladesh. They faced a shocking Test defeat in Bangladesh, and their side is not the same that defeated the Indians a couple of years ago, and in the earlier series as well.
