James Anderson will join the England Test squad ahead of the 1st Test against India. Anderson, however, will not take part in the tour opener. He, meanwhile, will acclimatise himself with the conditions.
Anderson was not part of the initial squad announced by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB). But, he is now cleared by the National Cricket Performance Centre to travel with the team in India.
England team has received a major boost with Anderson’s inclusion, who is now likely to take significant part in the Test series. Anderson has recovered from a stress fracture, which he sustained against Pakistan.
