KL Rahul Makes Huge Leap in ICC T20 Rankings; India Remain Second

Since breaking into the Indian team, KL Rahul has only been on an upward moment. His maiden T20 hundred in Lauderhill has helped him in gaining considerable places in the latest ICC T20 rankings.

The Indian batsman has gained 67 places, and is now 31st in the latest rankings. Virat Kohli, meanwhile, continues to remain the numero uno T20 batsman, followed by Aaron Finch and Martin Guptill.

Interestingly, West Indies opener Evin Lewis, who also made his maiden T20 century in Lauderhill, has gained 288 places to go 51 on the lost. Johnson Charles moved 26 places up to reach 23 in the latest rankings.

The Indian Cricket Team is currently placed second in the list with 126 rating points. New Zealand are at the pole position with 132 rating points. The West Indies are third with 125. South Africa are at the fourth position.

Meanwhile, the West Indies have closed gap on the second-placed India, after winning the two-match T20 series.

In the T20 bowlers rankings, Jasprit Bumrah has lost place, and is now third. Ravichandran Ashwin, however, has gained three places to reach fifth. The list is topped by Samuel Badree, followed by Imran Tahir.
