West Indies Team Test

The Indian team has tightened the screws on West Indies, and racing towards a massive lead in Jamaica. KL Rahul helped India in dominating the second day, as the visitors have pilled 358 runs so far.

Ajinkya Rahane and Wriddhiman Saha are in the middle, as the Indian team is leading the game by 162 runs. India have been hardly troubled so far. If it continues, they will end up pilling more runs.

India are in complete control at the moment. The visitors are all set to take a 2-0 lead in the four-match series. The West Indies would be needing a massive effort from their batsmen in the second innings.

“The batsmen have got to stand up because the bowlers have stood up today,” Phil Simmons said. “hopefully they will stand up again tomorrow morning and we get the wickets we need. It’s up to the batsmen to stand up now.”

There is a possibility of rain in the remaining three days of the match. It could save West Indies the blushes at the Sabina Park. The West Indies, however, would be hoping to turn things around with rain’s intervention.

“I don’t think we need them yet,” Simmons said. “I will tell you on the fourth day if we need it on fifth day. The wicket is still playing very well so it’s up to the batsmen to get their heads down and get some runs.”
