Ravindra Jadeja has a few reasons to celebrate even before playing the match against Sri Lanka. His wife Reeva Solanki has given birth to a baby girl. The news of Jadeja’s wife expecting broke out in March this year.
All rounder Jadeja is in England and will be playing for Team India against Sri Lanka. He tied the knot in April last year. Jadeja insisted that being a part of the Indian team was more important and has put his national duty first.

He said in an interview to Star Sports, “I had to leave my pregnant wife behind. Family matters a lot to me, but it was also necessary to be part of the team with an important match coming up against Pakistan.”

“Since the family is there to take care of her even they felt that I should play as that’s more important and I decided to do the same,” he added. Team India played their last match against Pakistan and won by 124 runs.
