‘MS Dhoni – The Untold Story’ shattered a number of box office records on its release. The biopic made on the life of India’s most successful captain still continues to make headlines at the award functions.
The biopic won a couple of awards at the International Indian Film Academy awards in New York yesterday. Disha Patani won ‘Best Debutant Female’. Meanwhile, Anupam Kher was named ‘Best Supporting Actor’.

Disha played Priyanka Jha’s character in the biopic. Kher, meanwhile, played Dhoni’s father Pan Singh in the movie.

The three-day IIFA Awards took place at the iconic MetLife Stadium in New York. Besides the Bollywood celebrities, Hollywood icons like Kevin Spacey, Angelina Jolie and Jackie Chan, to name a few.
