England batsman Kevin Pietersen and India’s Yuvraj Singh have attracted highest base price for the Indian Premier League (IPL) auctions, along with South Africa’s Hashim Amla, slated to take place on February 16 in Bangalore.
It is unknown how many players will be available for the auctions as the complete list of players will be unveiled on February 4, which would feature all 13 players of the Delhi Daredevils, after being released by the team owing to a disastrous last season.
The Delhi-based franchise will have the highest amount to spend in the IPL 2015 auctions, followed Royal Challenger Bangalore and Sunrisers Hyderabad. Each team will get additional three crore to spend in the auctions, along with the balance amount from last year’s auction.
