The Indian Cricket Team is targeting numero uno rankings across all formats. The chairman of selectors, MSK Prasad said that the team has created a roadmap, and working towards it, keeping the 2019 World Cup in mind.
“Our target is to reach No. 1 in all three formats,” MSK Prasad said. “We have done very well in Tests and are not too far away in ODIs (Rank 3) and T20Is (Rank 2). We have a clear-cut plan and are working towards it.”

“Team has enough plans for the period from the ICC Champions Trophy (June 2017) till the 2019 World Cup,” he added. “We have close to 55 ODIs and we will make sure that those who play the 2019 World Cup.”
“We have enough experience before they play in the marquee event,” he concluded.

The Indian team has done tremendously well in the Test format lately. They have thrashed the likes of South Africa, West Indies, New Zealand and England. And, waiting for Australia and Bangladesh to arrive next.
