The Australians have already started their preparations for the upcoming India series. They will be facing the Indian team in a four-match Test series that will take place in February-March.
Aussie opener David Warner insisted that they will have to put India under pressure. Warner said that he will not curb his natural instincts, and play aggressive cricket against the Indians.

“I’ve got to come out with a plan and execute that I’m not the patient type,” Warner said. “It’s about treating each ball on its merits. We try to go out there and put the pressure on the bowlers.”
“My philosophy is to try to get it back on them early,” he added. “They might not hit the line and length so you have got to make the most of that. I’ve got to keep playing my way and our way of Australian cricket.”

Warner pointed out the importance of practice games before the Test series. Australia will be playing practice matches against India A, and will also be practicing in Dubai before the series.
“Boof (Lehmann) is a massive fan of taking the game on and trying to win from every situation,” Warner said. “We are going to have to take our A-Game to India, boys will prepare in Dubai and then a warm-up game in Mumbai.”
