The Indian team is on a rampage right now. They defeated South Africa, West Indies, New Zealand and most recently England in their backyard. Australians are the next coming to face the Indians in February.

Australia, too, had a solid home season. They recently whitewashed Pakistan, but playing India will be a different ball game altogether for them. Especially, seeing how the Indians digged deep against England, most recently.

“We just saw the recent series with England and to be brutally honest they played very well,” David Warner said. “They batted deep, they got big runs on the board. India just got bigger runs on the board.”

Warner insisted that Australia need to play out of their skins in the four-match Test series against India. He added that to beat the number 1 side in the world, they need to be at the top of their game, in all the departments.

“So for us as a team to take some positives out of that,” Warner insisted. “The challenge is to try and bat longer periods. We’re going to have to take 20 wickets to win the game, simple as that.”

“We’re going to have to adapt straight away. No excuses,” he added. “Whether it’s batting or bowling and taking catches in the field, we’ve got to be on from ball one and have a plan B if plan A doesn’t work.”
