Can Warner, Henriques pull it off against Mumbai

David Warner

Moises Henriques’ inclusion in the Sunrisers Hyderabad’s scheme of things was slightly delayed but not denied. From the beginning, they have tried out all kinds of playing XI to work out the best possible combination, but from the time Henriques has come into the limelight, the Hyderabad middle-order is looking much better than before.

They don’t have to depend on their captain and highest scorer of the IPL David Warner and Shikhar Dhawan all the time. Henriques gives a good all-round option for the team and that will be a key factor when the Sunrisers take on the Mumbai Indians in the last match of the IPL league stages.

To this point, the Sunrisers must be proud the way they have played throughout the tournament. Henriques started doing well only recently, but it was Warner who carried this team single-handedly to reach where it is today. No other player in the competition can match this Australian opener.

It’s been a sheer dominance, as he played strokes all over the wicket, which makes him the one of the most dangerous batsmen in all formats of the game.

This match will not decide the table-topper of the points table, but this encounter will certainly settle on which team will have a better chance of making it to the play-offs. This match can also throw up new challenges for both teams to finish off things in a hurry to earn better run-rates. So which team will have the edge?

Mumbai are simply a better team in all respect. They won their last match of the first leg of the tournament against the Sunrisers in front of the home crowd. But this time the Sunrisers are playing at home and not going to take anything lying down!
