Sunrisers Hyderabad have released the list of retained players for the upcoming season of the Indian Premier League, with Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Karn Sharma and KL Rahul have been retained by the franchisee.
Bhuvneshwar has been one of the consistent performers in the Indian cricket for quite sometime now, while Karn Sharma have had a couple of fine seasons with the Hyderabad-based side.
KL Rahul, meanwhile, has cemented himself as a bright prospect, and is tipped as a next big thing for Team India. He boost of an impressive record for the Indian Test team.
Interestingly, Sunrisers Hyderabad have opted to release their premier pacers, Ishant Sharma and Dale Steyn, alongwith destructive Kevin Pietersen.
All-rounder Laxmi Ratan Shukla, seamer Praveen Kumar and England all-rounder Ravi Bopara are the other players released. They will now go into the IPL auction.

Top players retained: Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Karn Sharma, KL Rahul, Naman Ojha, Parvez Rasool, Shikhar Dhawan, David Warner, Eoin Morgan, Kane Williamson and Trent Boult.
Top players released: Ishant Sharma, Laxmi Ratan Shukla, Praveen Kumar, Dale Steyn, Kevin Pietersen and Ravi Bopara.
