In a bid to prepare Team India for the upcoming World T20 competition, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has integrated plenty of T20 games in team’s schedule.
Team India will play 11 T20 internationals in the next nine months, while the next year’s Asia Cup will also be played in a 20-over format, only increasing the number of game for the team.
This is quite unusual for a team, which generally shy away from playing T20 games leading up to the tournament. But, this time Team India will get a lot of practice for the World T20.
