Young Ankush Bains stamped his mark in the Ranji Trophy by scoring a flowing century against Hyderabad in Dharamsala to put Himachal Pradesh in strong position.
Ankush Bains made best use of good batting conditions of the HPCA Stadium and struck a magnificent hundred, featuring 22 boundaries, while also constructing crucial partnerships in the middle-order.
For the opening wicket, Bains stitched a 115-run stand with Prashant Chopra to help Himachal Pradesh lay a solid foundation. Despite’s Prashant’s departure, Ankush batted strongly and managed to complete a well-deserved ton.
Ankush Bains scored a 302-ball 161 and helped Himachal Pradesh reach a strong position by the end of day’s play.
