KL Rahul is having a tremendous run in the India jersey. He made century on his first innings in the West Indies. The stylish right-hander then went on to slam his maiden T20 hundred in the United States.
The Karnataka batsmen is making steady progress. He has cemented himself as a go to man across formats.
Interestingly, Rahul is in scheme of things for both MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli, who are leading India in the limited-overs and Test cricket, respectively. His run with the bat is nothing short of impressive in the past one year.

Rahul, in his recent interview, termed Dhoni at par with any other captain he has played under. The right-hander called Captain Cool the best skipper India or the world has ever seen.
“With MS having so much experience behind him he understands what is best for the team,” Rahul said. “He is obviously the best captain that India or the world has ever seen there is no doubt about that.”

Rahul spent a considerable time with Dhoni in Zimbabwe and the United States. The 24-year-old recalled that the Indian captain brings a sense of calmness into the dressing room.
“When he is in the dressing room there is a bit of calm, you know that the captain is doing most of the thinking,” Rahul recalled. “He will give you your roles & responsibilities and you just need to go and play them out.”
