Kiran More on post-Tea session , Day 4, 1st Test

Nottingham Test has provided some interesting cricket in the past few sessions and has swung like a pendulum for both the teams. First, a record 10 wicket partnership between Joe Root and James Anderson in the first innings and then wickets of Murali Vijay and Cheteshwar Pujara in the last session, Nottingham Test could throw in some surprises on the last day if England is able to take few more Indian wickets.

On the other hand, India think tank would be a bit disappointed with the kind of approach their batsmen have shown in the second innings .Shikhar Dhawan, Murali Vijay and Cheteshwar Puajara all got out playing aggressive shots which actually weren’t required at this stage of the game. As a result, it has put extra pressure in the Indian dressing room and few more wickets will send jitters in the Indian team.

With Ajinkya Rahane and Virat Kohli at the crease, India would like to bat as many overs on the last day so that not only they are able to get a draw but also can give some practice to its middle order ahead of the second Test at Lords.
