The Hyderabad Cricket Association has clarified that it will host a one-off Test against Bangladesh. Bangladesh are coming to India for a one-off Test, which will take place on February 13.
There were reports in the media that the Test match might not take place because of cash crunch in the association.
“Let me set the record straight that HCA has never ever shown reluctance to host the Test,” HCA secretary K John Manoj informed. “We are issuing tender notice for in stadia advertisement today.”

“Also we are set to sign a deal with TCM (Twenty First Century Media) within a day or two,” he added. “I don’t know who spread all these rumours.”
The HCA also informed that Bangladesh team wants to arrive a week early for the Test match, and the association has enough funds to organise a practice match for the visiting team.

“Infact Bangladesh wants to come a week early for practice match. We have enough funds for that also. Therefore I believe it is some BCCI officials, who probably are disqualified, want to spread baseless rumours.”
“So I put it again: Hyderabad is hosting the Test match,” John Manoj signed off.
