England are hoping for change in fortunes, after change in formats, against India. The visitors have already lost the Test series. They, however, are hoping for a much improved show in the upcoming limited-overs series.
“In the past we’ve found that whatever format came second, there was a general improvement within the tour.” the England captain, Eoin Morgan, said. “So hopefully that happens again.”
England will face India in a three-match ODI series, followed by three T20 matches. They will also play a couple of warm-up matches against a strong India A to prepare for the series.

The Indian team will be led by Virat Kohli. MS Dhoni has stepped down from the limited-overs captaincy. Morgan, meanwhile, insisted that England will not be affected by change in leadership in the Indian team.
“It doesn’t really affect us. He’s not captaining our team,” Morgan said. “He’s not playing in our team. Our focus is only about our team, about how well we are playing. And when we play well, we are very hard to beat.”
