Asia Cup T20 Final: Possible Playing XI of India against Bangladesh

The Indian team made a few changes in their last league game against the UAE to test the bench strength, but in the Asia Cup T20 final the visitors are unlikely to do anything like that.

In the final showdown, India are likely be playing with full strength team, with players like Ravindra Jadeja, Ashish Nehra and Ravichandran Ashwin coming into the XI.

Captain MS Dhoni had decided to rest their bowling mainstays in the last game, giving them time to recover, and keeping them refresh for the coming month.

Dhoni, however, didn’t make any change in the batting line-up, he promoted Yuvraj Singh up the order, but the top-seven batsmen remained the same.

The Indian team, meanwhile, is heading into the contest as clear favorites against Bangladesh. The hosts would be needing a special effort to derail India’s winning juggernaut.

“They are experienced players and they should treat this as another gamer,” Ravi Shastri said. “Our approach to every team and every game has been the same.”

“Right from the start, we have approached every game as a knock-out game,” he added. “The final will be no different for us.”

India Playing XI (Possible): Shikhar Dhawan, Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Suresh Raina, Yuvraj Singh, Hardik Pandya, MS Dhoni (c & wk), Ravindra Jadeja, Ravichandran Ashwin, Jasprit Bumrah and Ashish Nehra.

Bangladesh Playing XI (Possible): Tamim Iqbal, Soumya Sarkar, Sabbir Rahman, Mushfiqur Rahim, Shakib Al Hasan, Mahmudullah, Mohammad Mithun, Mashrafe Mortaza (c), Al-Amin Hossain, Arafat Sunny and Taskin Ahmed.
