Captain Virat Kohli Pleased with India’s “Best Game so Far”

Virat Kohli declared that India’s game against South Africa was his team’s “best game so far”. He, however, cautioned his players against complacency in the semifinal against Bangladesh.

The defending Champions have qualified for the semifinals, and will play against Bangladesh. “This is probably our best game we played so far,” Kohli pointed out. “The most complete performance.”

South African team got bundled at 191 against India. In reply, India chased down the target in just 38 overs. They went ahead with great intensity and the reward was a comprehensive win in the virtual quarterfinal.

Shikhar Dhawan scored an impressive 78 and Kohli completed the match with a 76 not out. The Indian captain said,” The opportunity comes your way, you have to grab it.”

Talking about the scopes of improvement in Bangladesh match, he said, “We played in Birmingham, we like that pitch, suits our game. No looking back. Always room for improvement, always small points you can improve on.”
