India and Australia produces a nicely-fought match in Chepauk. But, India managed to take the lead thanks to MS Dhoni, Hardik Pandya and spinners. The win was sweet seeing how India’s top-order got demolished by the Aussies.
First Kedar Jadhav and Mahendra Singh Dhoni stitched a good partnership. Later Dhoni teamed up with Pandya to tilt the momentum in India’s favour. He then provided the finishing touch to take India to 281 in Chennai.

The Indian captain was praise for the duo, after his team took a 1-0 lead in the five-game series. “This is a pleasing win because we were in a tough situation,” Kohli said. “MS Dhoni and Kedar played well early.”
“Hardik’s innings was fantastic. And MS finished off the way he does. It’s a good sign for us that our lower order batting is firing. Today was an example, Sri Lanka was an example, how good they can be.”
