Team India has left for a month long tour to Australia to play limited-overs series.

Last time when Team India went to Australia they had a forgettable outing to say the least, they failed to win even a single game against the Kookaburras.

The World Cup, however, proved to be fair affair for the MS Dhoni-led side, which went to the semifinals, before bowing down to, again, Australia, who were the eventual champions.

Team India is starting its World T20 preparations with the series against Australia, and this time as well it is going to be a mammoth task for the Blue brigade to get past the World Champions.

Dhoni’s men will be playing five one-dayers, and three T20s against Australia in a bid to prepare for the World T20 that will be played in India.

Team India will be tested by pace and bounce in the initial few games atleast, as the pitches in Perth, Brisbane and Melbourne are expected to seam friendly.

“We played the Test series and the tri-series before the World Cup and we had a fair idea of the conditions. I had gauged the bounce and carry that Australian wickets had to offer.”

“We had discussions with our coaches and had worked out what lengths to bowl which helped,” Mohammed Shami said.
