MS Dhoni, Indian Team Maintain Positions in ICC ODI Rankings

The Indian Cricket Team has retained its third place in the latest ICC ODI Rankings. India are ahead of the fourth-placed South Africa by a difference of decimal point.

India have recently thumped Zimbabwe in a three-match ODI series. They have 110 rating points, three less than the second-placed New Zealand, and 13 less than the world champions Australia.

England is fifth, followed by Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, West Indies, Pakistan and Afghanistan, who complete the top-10 standings. Zimbabwe are 11th, while Ireland are 12th on the list.

Meanwhile, India’s limited-overs captain MS Dhoni has also retained his 13th spot in the ICC ODI Batsmen’s Rankings, which is topped by South Africa skipper AB de Villiers.

Virat Kohli is ranked highest among the Indian batsmen at the second place, while Rohit Sharma has gained one place, and is currently placed sixth in the table. Shikhar Dhawan is eighth on the list.

Ravichandran Ashwin is the highest-ranked Indian bowler at 11th position. Mohammed Shami has lost one place, and is currently placed at 16th on the list.

South Africa’s Hashim Amla is third, New Zealand’s Kane Williamson is fourth, Quinton de Kock is ninth, while England’s Joe Root round off the top-10 standings.
