Every now and then the retirement talks of MS Dhoni pops up, despite the Ranchi-born has been confirmed to lead Team India atleast till the World T20.
Dhoni is arguably is one of the fittest player in the Indian team right now, and there is still no player in the current setup that can match his finishing prowess.
In the press conference, ahead of India’s departure for Australia, Dhoni was asked about his retirement plans, and the India captain brushes aside any such ideas.
“I am a person who lives in the present and the focus right now is on the Australian tour leading up to the World T20 Championships,” Dhoni said. “I will think about it at the right time.”
The 34-year-old Dhoni is still one of the fittest players in Team India, and he recently proved his form with the bat in the Vijay Hazare Trophy, while playing for Jharkhand.
