India ended the opening day of the 1st Test on a high, all thanks to captain Virat Kohli. The Indian captain tamed West Indies’ bowling attack to score an unbeaten century in Antigua. When stumps were called, India were 302/4, with Kohli and Ravichandran Ashwin in the middle.

India vs West Indies 1st Test, Day 2 is scheduled for a 7:30 pm IST (10 am local time) start. The match will be available live on Ten Sports Network in India. The live streaming of the match will be available HERE. The live score updates of the match will be available HERE and HERE.

The Indian skipper is now eyeing a double-hundred, his first in the longest format of the game. It won’t be a surprise if he reaches the landmark to take the game away from the hosts completely.

“Hopefully he scores big runs and gets a double hundred,” Shikhar Dhawan said. “It feels good to bat with him and we were rotating the strike and scoring runs at a good pace.”

“I feel that made a difference because we made the partnership very quickly,” he added. “That is a good thing and it is always a pleasure to watch Virat, the way he times the ball.”

India will have to negotiate the morning session. It will be a gigantic task for both Kohli and Ashwin to bat through the first hour of play. They will be aiming to start the day solidly. The visitors, meanwhile, doesn’t have a lot of recognised batsmen to follow.

West Indies will be aiming to start the day with some quick blows. They would want to restrict India inside 400 to have a change of challenging Kohli’s men.
