Generally, a good T20 pitch doesn’t need to swing and spin a lot. If it does, it’s not a conducive pitch for T20. India had the misfortune of playing their two T20 games on home pitches which had a plenty for fast bowlers and spinners. Incidentally, they had lost both of them.

India’s first loss came in Pune during a bilateral series against Sri Lanka on a green top and the second loss happened during the opening game against New Zealand in the opening main draw match of the World T20 in Nagpur on Tuesday.

But now it’s emerging that all the rest of the games involving India could have slow turners — be it in Kolkata, Mohali, Bangalore, Delhi or Mumbai. This is also given to understand that the pitches will be the ones during the IPL.

“There will be something for bowlers and batsmen. Those who can hit the ball can play their natural game and those who can bang the ball hard can get pace off the track.”

“Even the spinner will get the kind of turn they need to get a purchase from a track,” a source revealed it to Drcricket7 on Friday.
