Punjab all-rounder Gurkeerat Singh Mann has been included in the India Test squad for the 2nd Test against South Africa, slated to take place at Bangalore’s M Chinnaswamy Stadium.

Gurkeerat was part of the India ODI squad against South Africa, but didn’t feature in any of the five one-dayers. He was also one of the reserve players for India in the 1st Test in Mohali.

BCCI in a press release informed: Gurkeerat Singh Mann has been included in the Indian Test team and will join the team for the 2nd Test of the four-match Paytm Freedom Trophy in Bengaluru (November 14-18, 2015).”

Gurkeerat Singh Mann has a staggering record in the Ranji Trophy this season, as he is averaging 209 with bat, and so far has taken nine wickets at an average of 8.44.

His highest score in the Ranji Trophy this season is 201, which he made against Railways in Mohali, followed by 4/14 and 5/38 against Andhra Pradesh in Patiala.
