Australia vs India: Watch Aussie pacers trying short stuffs in training [VIDEO]

After some emotionally-turbulent days, Australia team is getting ready to face Team India in the first Test at Adelaide Oval. Australia got some much-needed practice and spent considerable time on the nets to get in terms for the competitive summer.

The bouncers were the most talked about topic lately, but the Australian pacers showed they won’t hold back when it comes to aggression on the field. Aussie pace attack, featuring Ryan Harris, Mitchell Johnson and Peter Siddle, tried some short-pitch bowling in the training session.

“We need the support of the Australian public and everyone leading into this first Test,” wicketkeeper Brad Haddin said. “We’re looking forward to playing and we need the help of everyone to enjoy the moment and just enjoy the game of cricket.

“Our job is to go and play cricket,” he added. “I don’t think you need to look too deep into what’s going to happen. You’re going to get a cricket game here on Tuesday, you’ll enjoy it and so will we. We get back to playing the game we love.”

Meanwhile, skipper Michael Clarke also trained alongside his teammates in a bid to remain available for the Adelaide Test, starting December 9. “All signs are that he is going in the right direction and we’re like everyone else, we want Michael out there,” Haddin insisted.
