The Indian Cricket Board (BCCI) has confirmed that the online registration of all the India matches, the four semi-finals (Men and Women) and the two finals (Men and Women) of the World T20 has started.
The lottery system is open for seven days only, and closing on March 2 at 5 pm IST. Indian and overseas fans can do the online registration at ticketing website Book My Show.
Fans can indicate their preferred match(es) following which they will be automatically enrolled into the random draw. Through an automated process, the winners will be chosen and intimated either by email or by SMS.
The winners from the random draw will then be given an opportunity to buy tickets for the match they have opted for and will receive a payment link to complete their booking.
This innovative process has been designed to avoid an instant sell-out of tickets, and to ensure that all users get an equal chance to buy tickets for the World T20.
