India started the Sri Lanka tour with a bang. They handed the Islanders a thumping defeat in the tour opener in Galle. Now the big question is whether the team management will change the winning combination in Colombo?
Almost everything clicked for the Indian in the 1st Test. Right from adding Hardik Pandya in the XI to Shikhar Dhawan and Abhinav Mukund. But, the Indian team management has to make some tough calls in the 2nd Test.
KL Rahul is the first choice opener and he deserves to be in the XI. The same is with Kuldeep Yadav. But, the main thing is whether the team would be interested to change the playing XI Galle win.

The team is focused on winning the series straight away. The dilemma, however, is to know if a fit-again Rahul could be accommodated in place of Mukund. Based on his performance, Mukund should be given a look in.
But again, Rahul is the main opener for the team while Mukund is just a replacement. From what it appears is that if the team is convinced about Rahul’s fitness, Mukund may have to sit out for the 2nd Test.
India Playing XI (Possible): Shikhar Dhawan, KL Rahul, Cheteshwar Pujara, Virat Kohli (c), Ajinkya Rahane, Wriddhiman Saha (wk), Hardik Pandya, Ravi Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja, Mohammad Shami and Umesh Yadav.
