All-round performance in the Ranji Trophy has reaped reward for Ravindra Jadeja, as he been named in the India test squad for the first two Test matches against South Africa.

Ravindra Jadeja has been in fine form for Saurashtra with both bat and ball, as he helped them in registering two successive wins at home over Tripura and Jharkhand.

The left-arm spinner has so far taken 24 wickets in two matches for Saurashtra with fifers in all four innings. Along with fine performance with the ball, he also struck two fifties.

Meanwhile, the selectors have not made any major changes in the Virat Kohli-led side that played won the Test series against Sri Lanka, as the core more or less is the same.

Murali Vijay, who was recovering from an injury, has been included, while KL Rahul and Shikhar Dhawan are other two openers. Wriddhiman Saha has also been included in the team.

Off-spinner Harbhajan Singh, however, has failed to make the cut, and is left out of the team, as Amit Mishra and Ravichandran Ashwin are other two spinners in the side.
