The selection committee has announced India squad for the last two ODIs of the five-match series against South Africa, with Umesh Yadav has been shown the door.

Pacer Umesh Yadav will be replaced by left-arm seamer Sreenath Aravind, who made his India debut in the three-match T20 series against South Africa.

Umesh paid the price of his inconsistent bowling in the first two one-dayers, and was eventually left out of the squad for the 3rd ODI, as India opted to play with three spinners.

The selectors didn’t make any changes in the team, which is currently trailing 2-1, after losing the 3rd ODI in Rajkot by 18 runs. All-rounder Gurkeerat Mann, who is yet to take a debut, is retained in the 15-member squad.

Team India is scheduled to play its next two matches in Chennai and Mumbai, and need to win both the encounters to clinch the series.

India Squad: MS Dhoni (c), Rohit Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan, Ajinkya Rahane, Virat Kohli, Suresh Raina, Axar Patel, Harbhajan Singh, Amit Mishra, Mohit Sharma, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Sreenath Aravind, Stuart Binny, Ambati Rayudu and Gurkeerat Mann.
