Mumbai Indians kept themselves alive in the Champions League T20 by registering a comprehensive nine-wicket victory over Southern Express in Raipur on Sunday.
The defending champions were at their dazzling best and never allowed the Islanders to comeback into the contest.
Openers Lendl Simmons and Micheal Hussey left their last game woes behind and struck half-centuries to put their team on course of a massive win.
Hussey, however, failed to finish the job but skipper Kieron Pollard does not allow Sri Lankan team to give any more blows and played a cameo at the end to drive his team home with Simmons.
