MS Dhoni has said that he shares a good equation with new captain Virat Kohli. Dhoni has recently handed over the captaincy baton to Kohli, who now leads the Indian team in all three formats of the game.
The former Indian captain spoke highly of Kohli in his recent press conference. He pointed out that Kohli always wants to give his best, and improve the game. Dhoni also extended his support to the new captain.

“We have been very close,” Dhoni insisted. “Virat was always somebody who wanted to improve in whatever chances he got, always wanted to give more. That was the key factor. We have interacted a lot.”
“He has improvised his cricket and his thinking,” he added. “He will keep getting better. My job will be to assist him wherever needed, giving him my thoughts from behind the stumps. That’s the real asset of the wicketkeeper.”

Dhoni recently left the captaincy of Indian’s limited-over team. Kohli, by default, named the captain, and will skipper the side in the upcoming limited-over series against England. The series starts January 15.
The Indian Cricket Team will be facing England in three one-dayers, followed by as many T20 matches.
