MS Dhoni 1Working more on the fitness would be the prime focus of MS Dhoni after the New Zealand series. The ODI series gets over on Saturday. A two-month lay-off from international cricket before India play England at home early next year.

It would be a perfect icing on the cake to enhance his fitness standard. “Just when everyone is praising Dhoni highly for his fitness standards,” a source said. “He wants to work even harder and comeback stronger against England.”

Things like meeting the family members, friends and fulfilling other commercial commitments are important and will be a part of his schedule. But, working on his fitness is his top-most priority.

“This is something, which Dhoni loves doing,” the source close to the cricketer revealed. “He believes that staying fit is the only way to stay in the hunt for top-spot in world cricket.”

Former Indian stumper, Kiran More, who is known to be big Dhoni fan, said that even a new entrant in the team can’t beat the Indian skipper in a 100-meter race without much of a problem.

“He is too quick for everyone. Fitness is the big asset for Dhoni. Like any other sport, if you have fitness on your side, you can achieve any standard,” More said while adding that India would need Dhoni more than Dhoni needing India.
