MS Dhoni played his last match as an Indian captain, when he led India A against England XI in Mumbai. India lost the match, but it made no difference. Afterall, Dhoni was wearing the captain’s cap one final time.
India’s most successful cricket captain led India to two world cup wins, champions trophy and various other titles. He also helped India in reaching the top-spot in ODI and Test rankings, during his tenure.

“The journey has been good, fantastic,” Dhoni said. “It’s good to have players like you (looking at Yuvraj). The job becomes much more easier. And enjoyed my 10 years, hopefully I will enjoy more whatever I have.”
In an interview taken by Yuvraj Singh, after the match, the southpaw thanked Dhoni for backing him. Yuvraj also termed Dhoni, as one of the best captains that have skippered the Indian team.

“You have been one of the best captains ever,” Yuvraj said. “It’s been amazing playing under you, winning three big championships, the World Cup and being the number one Test team in the world under you.”
“Thanks for giving me the opportunity to go and slog as always,” he added.
