West Indies XI were bundled for 180 inside 63 overs, with Jadeja and Ashwin picking three each, while Mishra finished with a couple. Shardul Thakur chipped-in with one with the new-ball.

“All three of us have different styles and all three of us have different bowling speeds,” Jadeja said. “So that is a very good thing. Our variations are very good and it is not easy for the batsmen to judge us as they have to play us in three different ways.”

“In conditions where the balls spin, our variations will make it difficult for West Indies batsmen,” he added. “I don’t know about the team combination but we are looking to work as a unit.”

Meanwhile, the Indian team also lost three wickets in when the day’s play was called off. Murali Vijay, Shikhar Dhawan and Cheteshwar Pujara were dismissed in the day. Pujara was the last one to be dismissed on the day.

KL Rahul, playing one down, looked solid once again in the middle. He is currently batting on 30, with the likes of Virat Kohli, Ajinkya Rahane and Rohit Sharma to follow. Indian team is currently at 93/3, and trailing by 87 runs.
