Virat Kohli continued his golden form with the bat, and struck another double-century his year. The Indian Test captain scored his third double of the year to propel his side to a massive lead over England in Mumbai.
The Indian team ended its first innings at 631 to lead the match by 231 runs. England now have a massive task in hand to save the Test match, and also the series. The hosts are leading the five-match series 2-0.

Kohli got a good support in Jayant Yadav, who completed his maiden Test century. The duo added 241 runs for the eighth wicket. Their mammoth partnership put the visitors out of contention. Yadav made 204-ball 104.
The stylish right-hander, meanwhile, also surpassed MS Dhoni (224) record of highest total by an Indian skipper. He made a 340-ball 235, and led from the front, with 25 boundaries and one six.
