The Indian team has gained one place in the latest ICC ODI Rankings. MS Dhoni’s men are now fourth in the standings. They are just a point behind New Zealand, who have 112 rating points.
India recently defeated the Kiwis 3-2 in the five-match ODI series. They won the last game by a thumping margin. The list is topped by Australia with 118 points, followed by South Africa (116).
Meanwhile, the Indian bowlers have gained considerable places in the ICC Rankings. Left-arm spinner Axar Patel has broken into the top-10 for the first time. He gained five places and is now ranked ninth.

Amit Mishra has also made a meteoric rise in the ICC ODI Rankings. Mishra is ranked 13th. He 25 places after the New Zealand series. Umesh Yadav and Jasprit Bumrah have also gained places in the latest rankings.
In the batsmen’s rankings, Virat Kohli remained second behind AB de Villiers. Rohit Sharma has dropped two places and is now ninth behind Martin Guptill. Captain Dhoni remained 13th, while Ajinkya Rahane is 30th.
