England have announced their 16 member squad for the upcoming India tour. They have named an unchanged squad that is currently touring Bangladesh for the Test series. The Test series is starting November 9, next month.

James Anderson is not part of the squad. He might join the squad later on the tour. Pacer Mark Wood is nursing an ankle injury. The Three Lions haven’t named any replacement for both their seamers.

“I’m not going to miss the entire trip, no,” Anderson said. “I’m very confident I’m going to be involved in the India series, it is a frustrating injury, something I want to get right.”
