Nothing beats scoring runs. And knows this better than Cheteshwar Pujara? In the final match of the Duleep Trophy Pujara complete his 10th first-class double hundred to put his team in the driver’s seat.

Yes, there wasn’t much help from the pink ball for the bowlers. And yet Pujara had to stay at the crease and face 363 balls to make an unbeaten 256.

And just ahead of the opening Test against New Zealand in Kanpur. The Saurashtra batsman will be keen to go out there and score more runs for the country.

By his own admission, Pujara is now ready to bat at any number for India. “I am ready to bat anywhere,” was his admission before the Duleep final commenced.
