What come as a big blow for Sunrisers Hyderabad, their bowling spearhead Ashish Nehra has been ruled out of next two Indian Premier League matches.

Nehra has sustained a hamstring injury, which means he won’t be playing Hyderabad’s next games against Kolkata Knight Riders and Mumbai Indians.

The Sunrisers captain David Warner, after losing to Royal Challengers Bangalore, informed about Nehra’s injury, which made him to alter his plans.

“It was a tough ask for the boys,” Warner said. “Nehra has hurt his groin again. He will be out for a couple of games. Mustafizur was fantastic.”

“We have to look back at positives and turn it around,” he added. “We have a good batting track at Hyderabad. We should not lose wickets in clumps.”

Warner also pointed out that after Nehra’s injury he was made to alter his bowling plans, and was left one bowler short when Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers were firing.

“When you look at the outcome of the game, it really hurts when the bowler goes down,” the Sunrisers captain said. “You have to reassess you plans and when two batsmen are going hard here, it’s very difficult to stop them.”
