India have lost just once this year in the T20Is, and the way they are playing right now, the team is shaping up pretty well ahead of the World T20 at home.

The Indian team has already qualified for the Asia Cup final, with successive imposing wins over Bangladesh, Pakistan and Sri Lanka.

According to the captain MS Dhoni, Team India has got the combinations right ahead of the marquee tournament, mainly because of the allrounders.

The Indian team features players alike Ravindra Jadeja, Hardik Pandya and Yuvraj Singh, who can contribute with both bat and ball.

“This format is especially better-suited to somebody (Hardik), who can bat and bowl,” Dhoni said. “All-rounders have two departments to contribute and can make up for failure in one with performance in the other.”

“Also performance in one department helps them carry the confidence into the other. That’s the reason why our team is looking more balanced. Looking at the conditions, you have three fast bowlers and two spinners.”

“Then you include two part-timers (Raina, Yuvraj) if needed,” the Indian captain concluded. “So it looks very good bunch of players, ideally suited for the conditions.”
