Hardik Debut
Hardik Pandya made his debut in International T20 match against Australia on 26 January 2017. He took 3 wickets for 37 runs against Australia on his debut. When he was given his first over he conceded 21 runs.It’s a nightmare for any debutant.

Hardik Pandya told Gaurav Kapoor in a recent show,”It was nightmare, giving 21 runs in my first international over. First time in my life I was blank, I didn’t know what to do. But Mahi bhai being a legend said ‘aaja doosra over daal’ (come, bowl another over).”
He added after getting second over he went for 6 runs in the first ball and in his 1.1 overs, he conceded 28 runs.
However, after that, he gave 7-8 runs in two overs and took two wickets. He also told that he still remembers the post-match press conference where Dhoni said, “I knew that after the first over, he(Hardik Pandya)will be a better bowler for sure.”
Later in the game after getting Chris Lynn out, Hardik Pandya told that he was over-excited. He said that seeing this Mahi bhai came to him and told him that “You(Hardik Pandya) are doing this thing for the last time because you will get banned plus the team will lose a player. So we don’t want that”. Listening to this he said sorry to him.
